Meet the Artist

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago whose work spans painting, sculpture, photography, writing, and filmmaking. Although drawing was a constant creative outlet throughout childhood, it wasn't until 2012 that I picked up a paintbrush and discovered a new way to bring ideas to life.
Photography was my first artistic love. Years spent behind the camera capturing the people, places, and fleeting moments of everyday life developed an appreciation for storytelling and composition that continues to influence every medium explored today. In addition to creating visual art, I am also a published writer, photographer, and filmmaker.
My first venture into the art world came in the form of Bönhedz—a series of hand-painted skulls that combined bold color, personality, and a fascination with the unusual. That fascination has only grown over time, fueled by a lifelong love of horror, the macabre, and the darker corners of the imagination.
Much of my work is deeply personal. Painting, in particular, has become a way to process the constant push and pull between stress and imagination—a place where thoughts, emotions, and ideas can exist outside the mind. Following a late-in-life diagnosis of both ADHD and autism, creating art has taken on an even deeper significance, providing both structure and freedom while embracing a unique perspective on the world.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a large polycule in Chicago, I value authenticity, chosen family, and the many ways people express themselves. Those experiences, along with a fascination for psychology, identity, and the beauty found in imperfection, continue to shape an artistic practice that is equal parts introspective, expressive, and unapologetically unconventional.
Whether working with acrylic paint, found objects, a camera, or the written word, my goal remains the same: to create work that sparks curiosity, evokes emotion, and invites viewers to look a little closer.

My artistic process is deeply personal and innovative, blending traditional and contemporary techniques. I draw inspiration from the macabre, nature, and diverse experiences, allowing my art to tell compelling stories. Each piece resonates with my emotions and thoughts, pushing artistic boundaries. Commissions are welcomed, offering a collaborative experience where I can bring your imagination to life. My aim is to create unique works that evoke feelings and provoke thoughts, fostering a connection between the viewer and the artwork.
